Terms of Service

By downloading, installing, or using the Sirra mobile application or website (collectively, the "Service"), you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service ("Terms"). If you do not agree to these Terms, do not use the Service.

These Terms constitute a legally binding agreement between you and Sirra ("we", "us", or "our"), a business operating in Australia. By using the Service, you confirm that you are at least 15 years of age.

Sirra is an AI-powered job application assistant that helps you analyse job listings, generate tailored resumes and cover letters, prepare for interviews, and track your job applications. The Service uses artificial intelligence (Google Gemini) to process content you provide and generate suggestions.

AI-generated content is provided as a starting point only. You are solely responsible for reviewing, editing, and ensuring the accuracy of any content before submitting it to prospective employers.

You must create an account to use the Service. You may sign in using your Google or Apple account. You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your account and for all activities that occur under your account.

You agree to provide accurate information and to promptly update it if it changes. We reserve the right to suspend or terminate accounts that violate these Terms.

Sirra currently uses one-time credits rather than a recurring subscription. New users receive one free welcome credit. One credit generates a complete application pack — a tailored resume and cover letter — and is only used once the pack has been successfully generated.

Credits are sold in packs (from A$5), billed in Australian dollars (AUD) and processed via Stripe. Larger packs cost less per credit. There is no recurring charge.

We reserve the right to change pricing. Any change applies only to purchases made after the change takes effect.

New users receive one free welcome credit with no credit card required. One credit creates a tailored resume and cover letter for a job, unlocks that job's follow-up tools, and is only used once the resume and cover letter have been successfully generated. Additional credits are sold in packs: A$5 for 1, A$20 for 5, and A$35 for 10 (larger packs cost less per credit). Sirra does not currently offer a subscription, and there are no recurring charges.

There is no recurring subscription to cancel. You may stop using the Service at any time, and any unused credits remain on your account. Unused credits do not currently expire while your account remains open. They have no cash value and are not transferable.

We comply with the Australian Consumer Law (ACL). If the Service fails to meet a consumer guarantee under the ACL, you may be entitled to a remedy. Outside of ACL rights, credit purchases are generally non-refundable.

You retain ownership of any content you upload or provide to the Service, including resume text and job descriptions ("Your Content"). By providing Your Content, you grant us a limited, non-exclusive licence to use it solely to operate the Service and generate AI outputs for you.

You warrant that Your Content does not infringe the intellectual property rights or privacy of any third party. You are responsible for ensuring that the job listing content you provide is used in accordance with the source platform's terms.

AI-generated content — including resumes, cover letters, government pitches, interview questions, salary and offer insights, reference, resignation and acceptance letters, and other outputs — is provided "as is" for informational purposes only. It is not legal, migration, financial, career, or professional advice. We make no warranty that AI-generated content is accurate, complete, or suitable for any particular job application, and you should seek qualified professional advice where appropriate.

You must not submit AI-generated content that contains false information to prospective employers. You are solely responsible for reviewing and verifying all content generated by the Service before use — including factual claims, eligibility, selection-criteria responses, salary figures, and anything you submit in an application.

You agree not to:

• Use the Service to create fraudulent, misleading, or defamatory content.
• Attempt to reverse-engineer, scrape, or abuse the Service's API.
• Share your account with others or resell access to the Service.
• Use the Service in any way that violates applicable Australian laws.
• Attempt to circumvent usage limits, credit controls, or account caps.
• Upload content containing malware, viruses, or harmful code.

We reserve the right to suspend or terminate your account if you breach these acceptable use requirements.

The Service, including its design, software, branding, and all content created by us, is owned by Sirra and protected by Australian and international intellectual property laws. You are granted a limited, non-transferable licence to use the Service for your personal, non-commercial job search activities.

You may not copy, modify, distribute, or create derivative works of any part of the Service without our prior written consent.

The Service integrates with third-party platforms including Google Firebase, Google Gemini, Stripe, and ScraperAPI. Your use of these services is subject to their respective terms and privacy policies. We are not responsible for the conduct of these third-party services.

The Service may display or process content from job boards such as SEEK, LinkedIn, and Indeed. We are not affiliated with these platforms and do not guarantee the accuracy or availability of job listings.

To the maximum extent permitted by Australian law, the Service is provided on an "as is" and "as available" basis without warranties of any kind, express or implied. We do not warrant that the Service will be uninterrupted, error-free, or that AI-generated content will meet your expectations or result in successful job applications.

Nothing in these Terms excludes any rights you have under the Australian Consumer Law that cannot be excluded by agreement.

To the maximum extent permitted by Australian law, our total liability to you for any claim arising from your use of the Service is limited to the amount you paid us in the 3 months preceding the claim, or AUD $50, whichever is greater.

We are not liable for any indirect, incidental, special, or consequential damages, including loss of income, loss of data, or missed employment opportunities arising from your use of the Service.

You may terminate your account at any time by using the "Delete Account" option in Settings. We may suspend or terminate your access if you breach these Terms, with or without notice.

Upon termination, your right to use the Service ceases. Sections 7, 8, 10, 12, 13, and 15 survive termination.

These Terms are governed by the laws of New South Wales, Australia. Any disputes will be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of New South Wales, Australia.

We may update these Terms from time to time. When we do, we will revise the "Last updated" date above and, for material changes, notify you via the app. Continued use of the Service after changes take effect constitutes acceptance of the updated Terms.
