Terms of Service

By downloading, installing, or using the Sirra mobile application or website (collectively, the "Service"), you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service ("Terms"). If you do not agree to these Terms, do not use the Service.

These Terms constitute a legally binding agreement between you and Sirra ("we", "us", or "our"), a business operating in Australia. By using the Service, you confirm that you are at least 15 years of age.

Sirra is an AI-powered job application assistant that helps you analyse job listings, generate tailored resumes and cover letters, prepare for interviews, and track your job applications. The Service uses artificial intelligence (Google Gemini) to process content you provide and generate suggestions.

AI-generated content is provided as a starting point only. You are solely responsible for reviewing, editing, and ensuring the accuracy of any content before submitting it to prospective employers.

You must create an account to use the Service. You may sign in using your Google or Apple account. You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your account and for all activities that occur under your account.

You agree to provide accurate information and to promptly update it if it changes. We reserve the right to suspend or terminate accounts that violate these Terms.

Sirra offers the following subscription tiers:

• Free — limited usage per month at no cost.
• Plus — increased limits at a monthly or annual fee.
• Pro — unlimited usage at a higher monthly or annual fee.

Paid subscriptions are billed in Australian dollars (AUD) and processed via Stripe. Subscription fees are charged at the start of each billing period and are non-refundable except as required by applicable Australian consumer law.

We reserve the right to change pricing. We will give you at least 30 days' notice of any price increase before it takes effect.

New users receive a 7-day Pro trial with no credit card required. At the end of the trial period, your account will revert to the Free tier automatically. No charges are applied at the conclusion of the free trial unless you choose to subscribe.

You may cancel your subscription at any time through the Settings screen or by contacting us. Cancellation takes effect at the end of the current billing period; you will retain access to paid features until then.

We comply with the Australian Consumer Law (ACL). If the Service fails to meet a consumer guarantee under the ACL, you may be entitled to a remedy. Outside of ACL rights, subscription fees are generally non-refundable.

You retain ownership of any content you upload or provide to the Service, including resume text and job descriptions ("Your Content"). By providing Your Content, you grant us a limited, non-exclusive licence to use it solely to operate the Service and generate AI outputs for you.

You warrant that Your Content does not infringe the intellectual property rights or privacy of any third party. You are responsible for ensuring that the job listing content you provide is used in accordance with the source platform's terms.

AI-generated resumes, cover letters, interview questions, and LinkedIn suggestions are provided "as is" for informational purposes. We make no warranty that AI-generated content is accurate, complete, or suitable for any particular job application.

You must not submit AI-generated content that contains false information to prospective employers. You are solely responsible for verifying factual claims in any content generated by the Service before use.

You agree not to:

• Use the Service to create fraudulent, misleading, or defamatory content.
• Attempt to reverse-engineer, scrape, or abuse the Service's API.
• Share your account with others or resell access to the Service.
• Use the Service in any way that violates applicable Australian laws.
• Attempt to circumvent usage limits or subscription restrictions.
• Upload content containing malware, viruses, or harmful code.

We reserve the right to suspend or terminate your account if you breach these acceptable use requirements.

The Service, including its design, software, branding, and all content created by us, is owned by Sirra and protected by Australian and international intellectual property laws. You are granted a limited, non-transferable licence to use the Service for your personal, non-commercial job search activities.

You may not copy, modify, distribute, or create derivative works of any part of the Service without our prior written consent.

The Service integrates with third-party platforms including Google Firebase, Google Gemini, Stripe, and ScraperAPI. Your use of these services is subject to their respective terms and privacy policies. We are not responsible for the conduct of these third-party services.

The Service may display or process content from job boards such as SEEK, LinkedIn, and Indeed. We are not affiliated with these platforms and do not guarantee the accuracy or availability of job listings.

To the maximum extent permitted by Australian law, the Service is provided on an "as is" and "as available" basis without warranties of any kind, express or implied. We do not warrant that the Service will be uninterrupted, error-free, or that AI-generated content will meet your expectations or result in successful job applications.

Nothing in these Terms excludes any rights you have under the Australian Consumer Law that cannot be excluded by agreement.

To the maximum extent permitted by Australian law, our total liability to you for any claim arising from your use of the Service is limited to the amount you paid us in the 3 months preceding the claim, or AUD $50, whichever is greater.

We are not liable for any indirect, incidental, special, or consequential damages, including loss of income, loss of data, or missed employment opportunities arising from your use of the Service.

You may terminate your account at any time by using the "Delete Account" option in Settings. We may suspend or terminate your access if you breach these Terms, with or without notice.

Upon termination, your right to use the Service ceases. Sections 7, 8, 10, 12, 13, and 15 survive termination.

These Terms are governed by the laws of New South Wales, Australia. Any disputes will be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of New South Wales, Australia.

We may update these Terms from time to time. When we do, we will revise the "Last updated" date above and, for material changes, notify you via the app. Continued use of the Service after changes take effect constitutes acceptance of the updated Terms.
